Reyes Galvan Aguilar (1860-1934) Zia Pueblo (Attributed) Polychrome Decorated Jar

Reyes Galvan aka K'aamuyets'a of Zia Pueblo married Mariano Aguilar of San Felipe Pueblo sometime before 1889. We attribute this polychrome decorated pottery jar with classic designs of parrot and stem and leaf with berries. Circa 1910, has a nice concave bottom. No chips, cracks, or repairs - crisp and clean. Measures 8" in diameter and stands 7" tall.
