1890s Santee Sioux Indian Beaded Slender Tobacco Bag Sinew Sewn On Hide 20" x 5"

We are offering an antique circa 1890's Santee Sioux Indian beaded tobacco bag, sinew sewn on deer hide, slender form beaded on both sides with a framed star and floral pattern.  Multicolor beads include butterscotch, dark blue, pale blue, turquoise, green, silver, black and opaque.  Measures 20" x 5".  In excellent condition.  All original, no alterations or repairs.  There is minimal bead loss to a couple of areas and a light smudge of red to the bottom just above the fringe on one side - barely worth mentioning but for accuracy's sake.  The hide is soft and supple, no stiffness.  Very solid overall.
